Aircraft Incidents, Accidents and FOD Damage
Collateral Verifications provides expert opinion reports, inspections and other services to assist with aircraft and engine accidents and incidents.
Aircraft Damage Inspections are commonly used for insurance purposes to obtain the current status and repair estimates of the subject aircraft or engine following a damage incident. We physically inspect the aircraft and can develop a comprehensive listing of needed repairs as well as obtain repair estimates from qualified repair stations. The report includes photographs, current storage and safekeeping, estimates and our opinion of the event itself.
Engine Damage Reports are commonly used for insurance purposes to provide a third party opinion as to the cause of a turbine engine sudden stoppage event. Often this requires detailed review of engine shop tear down, borescope or overhaul reports.
