FAA STC APPROVALS | FIRST OF TYPE PAX-FREIGHTER CONVERSION
CV Tech Ops successfully managed the first of type passenger to freighter conversion and subsequent Supplemental Type Change (STC) approval of a Dornier 328-120 Turboprop aircraft.
At the onset of our engagement, the aircraft was disassembled, partially modified and not airworthy. The owner had recently declared bankruptcy mid-way through a heavy maintenance check and conversion attempt without having obtained any of the needed FAA Type Change approvals. The experts at CV were able to manage the completion of all overdue maintenance as well as obtain the proper regulatory approvals to protect the bank's investment and enable the sale of the aircraft.
