Airline Representative to Lessor

Collateral Verifications provides advisory, cost management and technical assistance services where we serve as a liaison between the airline and the lessor. These type services are most often used by smaller airlines and operators.

The core business of Collateral Verifications is in providing unbiased appraisal, audit, advisory and inspection services. As certified aircraft appraisers, we have written the book on aircraft values and our role as industry advisers has allowed our company to establish many unique relationships at the highest levels of the aviation industry.

We presently serve as Lease Manager for multiple commercial aircraft on lease in North and South America. This experience allows our team to effectively advise our airline clients on the proper cost management strategies to meet the terms of the lease.

When engaged for Lessee advisory projects, the full valuation and technical knowledge base of CV is brought to task. The Quality Control or Fleet Management departments for most small airlines do not have active experience with meeting the ever changing demands of major Lessors. We do!

Lessee assistance services will usually include:

Prior to Lease and Letter of Intent Stage
Aircraft Valuation and Market Lease Rate Analysis. Assist with negotiating term sheet, contracts, maintenance reserve rates, AD shared cost formulas, delivery and return conditions, operating and maintenance covenants.

Lease Acceptance
Full Technical Inspection and Audit
Maintenance Program Bridging Assistance
Technical Acceptance of Aircraft

During the Lease
Assist with required monthly utilization reporting, as well as preparation for and escort of Lessors technical inspection or review teams.

Lease Modifications
Assist with preparing and presenting sub-lease request, Letter of Credit replacements for Maintenance Reserves, adjustments to annual MR escalation rates, lease extensions or early terminations.

Heavy Maintenance Events
Cost management and workscope planning assistance for Engine/APU shop visits, Landing Gear overhauls and Airframe C/D-Checks.

Lease End
Assist with authoring the exit C-check workscope package
Source and evaluate capable repair stations
Negotiate workscope rates, fees and scheduling
Technical representation at exit C-Check
